About Painted Grace Ministries
Lynda Hepler is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church who passionately engages in spiritual formation through creative art. Combining her love for theology and art, Lynda seeks to inspire others in their spiritual journeys.
She earned her BFA in Studio Art from UNCG and spent several years working as a graphic artist before responding to God’s call into ministry. At her previous appointment, Lynda established an art academy that serves students of all ages and abilities, helping them explore their creativity.
In 2021, Lynda began her studies in iconography under the guidance of Ukrainian Abbot Damian Higgins. Since then, she has diligently honed her skills, sharing her artistic gifts with others in both individual and group spiritual direction settings.
As a trained facilitator in Group Spiritual Direction, Lynda incorporates art and other creative means into the discernment process, enriching the spiritual formation experience for all involved.
