Welcome to Painted Grace Ministries

The mission of Painted Grace Ministries is to transform lives through art for the sake of the Gospel.


Painted Grace Ministries provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all skill levels to explore their creativity. PGM offers classes, open studio time, small groups and retreats, with a focus on art and christian spiritual formation. Sacred artist Lynda Hepler is passionate about helping people develop their skills and find their artistic voice. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, we have something to offer you at Painted Grace Ministries.

About Painted Grace Ministries

Lynda Hepler is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church. Following God's call into spiritual formation and the creative process, Lynda is combining her passion for art and theology.


Lynda earned her BFA in Studio Art from UNCG. After several years working as a graphic artist she heard God's call into ministry.  At her last appointment she established an arts academy for students of all ages and abilities. 


In 2021, Lynda began studying the art of icon writing under the tutelage of Ukrainian Abbot Damian Higgins. Since that time Lynda continues to hone her craft and loves to share her gifts with others.
